The King's Speech To Debut At West End

Play version of the hit Brit flick coming to theatres in London.
I think to say that many of us film-goers in the UK were 'pleasantly surprised' to see The King's Speech turn out to be a brilliantly patriotic British movie this time last year is a severe understatement- the award-winning film even managed to rank at second place on my Best Films of 2011 list. Now, we can relive the majesty and wonder of the heartwarming true story on the stage with the new production adaptation crafted by David Seidler about to head over to the West End. The play follows roughly the same storyline as the film, only with new rising stars like Charles Edwards in the lead roles, and a slightly different take on some of its events to suit its more dramatic home. The King's Speech will debut at the West End on March 22nd, its venue the Wyndham Theatre's managers have confirmed, and tickets for the first performance are expected to sell fast- in other words, get in there fast if you're planning on heading to the premiere!
