Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing UK Broadcast Confirmed

Winter is coming- let the rejoicing begin with a preview of Game of Thrones' fourth season...
Sky Atlantic have today confirmed that the HBO one-off special programme Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing will broadcast on the UK channel next week. Intended as a preview of the new season of Game of Thrones, the show will feature interviews with regular stars including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey, along with previously-unseen clips taken from the 10-episode series itself.

In fairness, Sky's US-port channel has a decent track record in terms of bringing HBO's metafictional Thrones output to our screens shortly after its Stateside début. Thronecast: The Official Guide to Game of Thrones, a weekly video podcast, accompanied each episode of Season Three last year, and Ice and Fire's broadcast will occur just one night later than the HBO's première of the programme this Sunday. As for Thrones' fourth season? Luckily enough, there's just twenty four hours between its US and UK programming, meaning that fans over here will only have to wait until April 7th to experience the season première for themselves.

Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing airs on Sky Atlantic next Monday February 10th.
