Battle: Los Angeles Downloadable Game Announced
No-one expected this: just days before its release on March 11th, Battle: Los Angeles has been announced to get a downloadable video game adaptation next month. Konami revealed today that the title will be available to purchase on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Steam in early April. BLA will focus on a single player campaign that chronicles Corporal Lee Imlay's fight to halt an alien invasion of America. The game will make use of the Havok Destruction Module, often found in explosive shooters such as Battlefield: Bad Company, so we can assume that it will be an FPS title. If anything, this release seems like a really risky move for Konami seeing as Call of Duty, Homefront, Battlefield and Gears of War are all coming out in 2011 and this DLC has been revealed just one month before its début. However, you can expect a full review of the film in the next fortnight and at some point this tie-in version.
