Doctor Who Comic Relief Details

Fans will undoubtedly be wondering why the TARDIS seems to have materialised inside itself and more intriguingly why there are two Amy Ponds in the ship (not that any male viewer will be complaining about double helpings of Karen Gillian), and they don't have long to wait now since two mini-episodes of Doctor Who will première on March 18th, On-Screen can reveal. Speaking to SFX, Steven Moffat has said that the stories are "four minutes each, done in the style of the ones we've done for Children In Need [the charity event held in November has played host to short episodes like Time Crash and Born Again], so it's taken seriously- funny, but not a sketch." One of the stories is called 'Space' and the other 'Time', forming the nice collective title of 'Space & Time'. Even more surprisingly is the revelation that "It's Matt, Karen and Arthur [as the Doctor, Amy and Rory respectively], and there isn't a guest character", so the TARDIS crew are helming an adventure all by themselves. Check back here later this month for the full clips of both mini-episodes, reviews of both and the first trailer for Doctor Who Series Six, set to start at Easter.
