This Christmas' hottest movie previewed...As if it weren't enough for us to be witnessing the epic blockbuster season that is the Summer Of Film 2012, now New Line Pictures aren't helping by teasing us with glimpses of this Winter's upcoming fantasy prequel The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. This prologue to the Lord Of The Rings trilogy follows Bilbo Baggins as he is thrust into a quest involving dwarves, dragons, promises and an ancient golden ring guarded by a creature tormented by its lure. The production team have this week debuted a host of new photos taken directly from the movie, which seems to indicate that we'll be getting a new trailer soon either via the cinema premiere of a big blockbuster like The Dark Knight Rises or at the film's announced ComicCon panel. Either way, we'll bring you all the updates on this and the 2013 follow-up as they come! The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives on December 14th.
