Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Delayed

No sniping for the Summer, it seems!
Seemingly trying to escape the Summer drought that's causing new video game titles to flop commercially, Namco Bandai have pushed their new third-person shooter project Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 back by a few months in what's undoubtedly a strategic delay. The sequel to 2010's mediocre first entry, Ghost Warrior 2 sees a lone soldier face off against terrorist factions in deserts, jungles and icelands with just his sturdy sniper rifle to hand, an exhilirating premise if there ever was once! Skepticism aside, this title has every right to be a success if it utilises the CryEngine 3 is utilised correctly, it's just that the worry seeps in when we think back to how little success the original instalment was met with, and also that this is now going to be coming out at the same time as the very big guns which stand more chance of making an impact on gamers. Still, I wish the developers the very best of luck...Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will now ship worldwide on October 9th.
