The BBC have today released a new trailer highlighting a series of upcoming dramas set to broadcast on BBC One. Titled 'Original British Drama', the video (below) houses new footage from old and new shows alike returning including Sherlock, Ripper Street, Quirke, The Musketeers, The Escape Artist and What Remains.
One (or rather two) omission that viewers may notice here is footage from either the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special or the impending debut season of fantasy drama Atlantis. With regards to the former, BBC One are teasing "so much more than a trailer" when their marketing campaign for the landmark event kicks off later this month. The channel's Atlantis marketing team have mentioned a countdown for the first series as starting "very soon", so perhaps we'll get a full Atlantis trailer in the next week and then the aforementioned Who materials not too long after that...
