Transformers: Age of Extinction Announced

Jurassic Park 4, watch out- there's a whole different kind of meteor heading to Earth, with more to it than meets the eye.
Paramount Pictures have today announced the title of their fourth Transformers motion-picture film. Taking place after the events of 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the new instalment is again directed by Michael Bay, but this time features a new cast led by Oscar nominee Mark Wahlberg.

The title, then? Transformers: Age of Extinction. For the initiated fans out there, the latter section of the newly-announced header should be of particular interest. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently teased that the Dinobots will feature in this next chapter of the saga of comic-book adaptations. These classic foes have long menaced the Autobots and if the rumours are true, then they could prove a very different (hopefully unique) threat for the series' protagonists to duel next time around. Check out the first poster for Age of Extinction (revealed at Yahoo Movies) below...

Transformers: Age of Extinction assimilates in cinemas worldwide on June 27th, 2014.
