As 2013 enters its final quarter next month, developers are starting to unveil more details on 2014 projects- the first details!Namco Bandai Games have today announced the release date of their upcoming fantasy RPG video game Dark Souls II. Taking place after the events of 2011's tough as nails Dark Souls, this follow-up is currently said to feature gameplay mechanics which will test the player just as much as its predecessor's, if not moreso.
By confirming that Dark Souls II will land next Spring, the developers have initiated the string of impending announcements which will reveal whether their competitors intend to show their hands earlier or later in the upcoming year. In March 2013, gamers received BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider and Gears of War: Judgement, and it's not inconceivable judging by DSII's placement to imagine that a similarly competitive period for the market will arise next March too...
Dark Souls II blazes onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 14th, 2014.
