Can Ubisoft Montreal top their own Assassin's Creed franchise? Soon enough, we'll find out!Ubisoft Montreal have today released the latest gameplay trailer for their upcoming open-world detective video game Watch Dogs. Perhaps the greatest competitor lying in Grand Theft Auto V's wake this year, the first instalment in the publisher's new franchise focuses on Aiden Pearce, a vengeful tech whiz who manipulates a near-future Chicago's dependence on information as power to his own ends against the corrupt buerocrats taking control of the city.
There's fourteen minutes of sparkling, innovative gameplay footage awaiting viewers in the aforementioned demo (below). Those of us who own Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles would of course do best to realise that the same high-end graphics offered up here won't necessarily be replicated in such bold fashion on current-generation consoles. Nevertheless, it'll come as a major surprise to everyone if this doesn't turn out to be one of the most impressive games of 2013.
Watch Dogs hacks into PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo WiiU and PC consoles worldwide on November 22nd.
