Speaking at the keynote meeting for the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS will be released this June. The game is a remake of what many consider to be one of the best video game classics of all time, updating the graphics and adding new features that correspond to the capabilities of the 3DS. Ocarina was first released back in 1998, and we are now getting the update on the year of the franchise's 25th anniversary (the original Zelda retailed for the Nintendo Entertainment System, NES, in 1986!). No concrete release date in the sixth month of 2011 was given, but Iwata assured fans that "[Head of Nintendo Mr Miyamoto] is working on a plan that will allow all Zelda lovers to celebrate together". Is Ocarina Of Time still worthy of the accolades gamers old enough to remember give it today? Find out in my full review of the 3DS title when it releases this Summer! There was also a brand new trailer (below) for Wii entry The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword at GDC, and while it doesn't look quite as impressive as Ocarina or 2007's Twilight Princess, fans should still get lots of fun out of it with the Wii MotionPlus this Autumn:
