New The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Star Announced

Find out the latest addition to this two-part franchise finale's all-star cast right here...
Lionsgate Studios have today announced another cast member in their upcoming two-part film adaptation of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Taking place hours after the events of this November's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the final two movies in the franchise will chronicle Katniss' ascension to become the spearhead of the Rebellion, as a war dawns which will decide the fate of Panem and each of its twelve Districts.

Evan Ross has been confirmed to play the character of Messalla in Mockingjay. In the original 2011 novel, Messalla was the cameraman of Capital reject Cressida (recently announced as being played by Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer), although whether the character will be presented with a more extensive role in this much-anticipated franchise finale remains to be seen. Over in the States, Ross is recognised amongst teen audiences for his roles in 90210; Jeff, Who Lives At Home; ATL and The Family Tree, but it's conceivable that this particular role could elevate him into a far greater status of entertainment acclaim.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1 burns into cinemas worldwide on November 21st, 2014, and Part 2 hits the box office on November 20th, 2015.
