Warface: Xbox 360 Edition Announced

CryTek's beloved Free-To-Play multiplayer shooter comes exclusively to Xbox 360 consoles in 2014.
CryTek Games and Microsoft Game Studios have today announced the development of Warface: Xbox 360 Edition for release next year. A port of the acclaimed PC Free-To-Play multiplayer shooter Warface, this latest version of the title will ship with new console-exclusive features and remains an FTP project, though whether access to the world will require an Xbox Live Gold account has yet to be confirmed.

Warface revolves around a pseudo-dystopian future featuring wars of mechanoid creatures and human rebels, a narrative that is constantly expanding on PC and thus which should enable considerable replay value and sustainability on Xbox 360. The title is currently being shipped to various regions for PC play, so a worldwide port for Microsoft's home console may not be instantaneous, yet it's promised that the vast majority of major regions will receive its latest incarnation on the same launch day.

Warface: Xbox 360 Edition will retail exclusively on Xbox 360 in Spring 2014.
