BBC Worldwide have today unveiled two new upcoming products set to continue Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary celebrations alongside 2013's television offerings and live events. Brought to us by Puffin and Silva Screen Records, these two new pieces of merchandise will continue the onslaught of releases at high-street and digital retailers presented to fans over the course of the year building up to November 23rd.

- DOCTOR WHO: SPORE- British author Alex Scarrow has today been announced as the latest author adapting an era of Doctor Who into a 50th Anniversary eBook. The author of the acclaimed teen fiction series TimeRiders has penned an Eighth Doctor tale, Spore, which sees the Time Lord and his new companion encounter a virus in the Arizona Desert which the Doctor recalls as having once brought his race close to extinction. This time around, fans will encounter a horror-themed tale of eerie twists and terrifying monsters alongside a new rendition of Paul McGann's incarnation. Doctor Who: Spore launches on Kindle devices and other digital readers on August 23rd.
- DOCTOR WHO: SERIES 7 ORIGINAL TELEVISION SOUNDTRACK- Silva Screen Records have today announced the track listing and the release date for their Series 7 Original Television Soundtrack. Compiling Murray Gold's award-winning music from the fifteen episodes of the new run, beginning with The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe and culminating with The Name of the Doctor, this new two-disc set features a whopping 74 tracks and should be the ultimate present for fans eagerly awaiting the 50th Anniversary Special this Autumn.
