Right, then! John Williams is scoring Star Wars Episode VII! Brilliant news, eh? To celebrate, we're putting the Star Wars franchise into a different perspective today by theming a special edition of our Video Corner feature around the saga. We've a mix of serious and unbelievably hilarious YouTube instalments awaiting you just below this brief.

Here, then, is a round-up of some of the finest Star Wars video content available on the interwebs for your perusual right now. May the Force be with you on this fine August afternoon!:

THE STAR WARS THAT I USED TO KNOW- Perhaps the most intelligent parody of the Star Wars universe, Teddie Films have taken Gotye's acclaimed recent alternative track Somebody That I Used To Know and utilised its various camera shots, angles and design schemes in a twist on George Lucas' universe. Have you ever showed discontent at the various remakes of the original films and the loathed Prequel Trilogy? Well, here's the best way to celebrate those mistakes in an expertly-crafted manner...
THE EMPEROR GETS A JOB- What does a Sith Lord do once he has been thrust down a two hundred and eighty-mile shaft directly into the reactor of the Death Star? Well, g4TV have the answer in their brilliantly hilarious parody featuring Darth Sidious post-Return of the Jedi. From mobile communication to air traffic control, it seems that there are no limits to the Emperor's talents- although things don't always run according to plan!
THE EMPEROR TAKES A PHONE CALL- Yet another sublime parody of George Lucas' finest creations, this particular one comes from the minds of Robot Chicken. The parody in question? It features the Emperor taking a phone call from his assistant Dark Lord Darth Vader, and truly does beg your attention in terms of sheer hilarity.
JOHN WILLIAMS' BATTLE OF THE HEROES- Finally, in light of the brilliant John Williams Episode VII announcement, we have a celebratory video to recap one of his greatest pieces from Revenge of the Sith. Truly, there are few more accomplished composers in the film industry right now than Williams, and this intelligently summarizes why he remains the best possible choice for the franchise's next step!
STORMTROOPERS 9/11- Now, prepare for something that's in slightly bad taste, but is handled in an expert manner that is not intended to offend any viewer who has felt keenly the tragedy of the September 11th Twin Towers attacks. Here, we see Stormtroopers contemplating the anniversary of the destruction of the Death Star by just two lone X-Wings, with some interesting theories of who was really behind the explosion. Truly, this is absolutely hilarious stuff, and begs your attention right now!
