From Game of Thrones to Elementary to The Hunger Games- Natalie Dormer's rapid rise to stardom continues...
Lionsgate Pictures have today announced a new cast member set to feature in their upcoming fantasy films The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2. The final two instalments in the acclaimed franchise of film adaptations of Suzanne Collins' works, these two movies will chronicle a full-scale war as uprisings across every District threaten to tear Panem apart, leaving Katniss and the army of District 12 with no option but to rally their troops and march on the Capitol.
The latest addition to the franchise's extensive and star-studded cast is none other than Natalie Dormer. Natalie is perhaps best known for her stellar portrayal of Margeary Tyrell in the third season of Game of Thrones, yet has recently had a number of other impressive roles such as that of the dual alter-ego of Irene Adler and Moriarty in Elementary and a minor stint as the lecherous Private Lerraine in Captain America: The First Avenger. She will portray Cressida, a significant member of the Rebellion who defects from the leadership of the Capitol in the early stages of this final chapter in the Hunger Games saga.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1 ignites in cinemas worldwide on November 21st, 2014 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2 blows a distinctive whistle as it storms the box office on November 20th, 2015.
