2011 Kinect Games To Watch #4: Forza 4
Forza Motorsport has never needed fancy gimmicks to broadcast the series' great lead in the console racing genre, so it's lucky that Kinect is no such gimmick. The peripheral is going to be intergrated into Forza Motorsport 4 this year by players being able to walk around their car, analyse its specifications and then drive it with acceleration and breaking controlled automatically. If November 2010's Kinect Joy Ride (5/10) was anything to go by, we'd be worried already about FM4. Thing is, it isn't: Turn 10 Studios haven't had the need to rush it out for launch day, and that means they've had an extra year to develop their adrenaline-fulled sequel (or perhaps even longer- odds are they've been working on this one since Forza 3 was released and 'Project Natal' aka Kinect was announced). Forza 4 already has me counting down the seasons till its Autumn release, and although controller game-play is there too for those without Kinect it's Microsoft's motion camera that might make it a Gran Turismo 5-beater!
