As if the announcement of the Next Generation Portable- more commonly known as the PSP2- for release this Winter weren't enough, Android confirmed today at the Super Bowl game that the much anticipated PlayStation Phone will be debuted this weekend at a major Sony press conference. The entertainment developer has so far kept quiet on the possibility of a version of their PlayStation incorporated into a mobile phone, so this might well have been a case of an unseen cat being let out of the bag a couple of days before the big reveal, but either way internet forums are already rife with speculation as to how the device will handle full video games on top of the frequently increasing pressure to develop the experience of communication, not to mention which franchises created exclusively by Sony will feature on the PSPhone- although if the NGP reveal last month was anything to go by, fans know to expect the likes of Uncharted, Little Big Planet and Jak & Daxter in some format. More news on the PlayStation Phone as and when it comes, not to mention the full review on release day- will it top the iPhone and regular Androids?
