Glee: Duets Review (3.5/5)

Gradually, Glee is getting its 'oomph' back week by week, and Duets continued this trend well. Chord Overstreet (yep, that's a real name) makes his return to the series as Sam, much to the pleasure of Dianna Agron's (look out for her, by the way, in I Am Number Four with Alex Pettyfer, out at cinemas next week) Quinn as a new relationship forms. Mr Schuster asks the club's members old and new to pair up for some duets-hence the title- including new covers of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and "River Deep", all of which look and sound brilliant even for Glee. In fact, the more songs that feature in an episode of the US comedy the better, as often the melodrama and unrealistic gags get in the way of the show's light-hearted tone and musical passion. Overall, while there's certainly nothing ground breaking in Duets, there were enough plot developments to make it an improvement on the stairs back to the scale of Audition (5/5).
