First Star Trek 2 Image Released

To boldly go where no cast and crew have gone before!
It's safe to say that Trekkians will be more than ready for Star Trek 2 when it hits the big screen next year- the movie's suffered a variety of delays in the past few months, pushing it back from a potential Winter 2012 release to a projected Summer 2013 window. Although the news is hardly welcome for fans, they can at least rest safe in the knowledge that production on the sequel is indeed well underway, thanks to the first image of the cast and crew released by Paramount Pictures this week. The picture shows various members of the team including cast members Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana, as well as director JJ Abrams, all preparing to set sail on an epic new voyage of discovery among the stars and worlds of the universe. We'll have the chance to watch Star Trek 2 from May 17th, 2013.
