THQ's anticipated sequel gets pushed back to next year.
THQ really don't seem to be having a good time of it at the moment. Just last month, it was speculated among games journalists that the company was running into financial troubles, for example unable to produce their much-vaunted Warhammer MMO in time for release this year, and they've now had to reveal that their anticipated sci-fi shooter sequel Metro: Last Light has been delayed too. A spiritual successor to 2010's popular Metro 2033, the game will focus on Artyom's quest to find the mysterious 'Prisoner' underground in order to save the decaying world above them before it's too late. Little is actually known about the project, save for that it will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and WiiU in the fiscal year of April 2013-March 2014. More details on Last Light and the reasoning behind its delay are expected to follow in the coming weeks.
