The Rize Of The Fenix Begins This Year!Rock band Tenacious D announced a brand new studio album yesterday for release later this year. Titled Rize Of The Fenix, the new record will feature a host of (unrevealed) exclusive numbers by the duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, marking their first collaboration since the wacky 2006 movie The Pick of Destiny. Tenacious D's work varies for me in terms of appeal, but there are a good few tracks by them that are great examples of modern rock, so I look forward to seeing how Rize fares six years on from the band's last collaboration. Rise Of The Fenix hits high street and online retailers this Autumn; Tenacious D will perform at this year's Download festival in June too!
