Sky Demand offer us an advanced screening of The Newsroom's opening episodes next month.Sky have today announced their intended broadcast schedule for The Newsroom Season Two. The new nine-part run focuses on the News Night team as they are caught up in a moral and legal conflict like no other, one that threatens to tear the team and their programme apart.
Over in the United States, The Newsroom returns on July 14th. For viewers in the UK, until now we had only known that Sky Atlantic had planned to commence broadcasting Season Two in August. However, today it has been confirmed that the company's Sky Demand service will be used to provide advance broadcasts of an unspecified number of the show's new opening episodes, ahead of a televised broadcast of the episodes later in the month.
The Newsroom Season Two begins on Sky Demand on August 20th, with the season's domestic UK broadcast set to commence later in August.
