The latest instalment of Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Two series will be previewed next month.
Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have today confirmed the release of a new theatrical trailer for their upcoming superhero film Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Set to launch at the Superbowl XLVIII live event in the United States, the second preview will presumably reveal more concrete plot details with regards to the much-anticipated sequel.
Expect this to be just the beginning of a host of Superbowl trailer announcements, as is the case every year. Transformers: Age of Extinction and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes have both been confirmed as featuring amongst the XLVIII advertising line-up, with more superhero films such as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past potentially viable to enter the fray given the close proximity of the event to their respective release dates. As ever, as and when updates on the roster arrive, you'll be the first to know, so keep it On-Screen in the days following January 22nd for all the key details.
The Superbowl XLVIII live event airs on February 2nd, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier crashes into cinemas on March 26th.
