The Warriors Three (well, one of them) make their TV début next month!
Marvel Studios and ABC have today announced the latest guest star set to appear in their TV superhero drama Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Set in the aftermath of Avengers Assemble, the show focuses on the weekly missions of Phil Coulson and his elite team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, and it regularly establishes connections with the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Don't expect that trend of franchise integration to cease anytime soon, either, since Jaime Alexander will be reprising her role as the Asgardian warrior Sif in Season One's fifteenth episode. Jaime first appeared as the character in 2011's Thor, before taking on a more secondary role in last Autumn's Thor: The Dark World, the events of which recently had a direct impact on Agents' ongoing narrative. The news comes courtesy of ABC at the TCA Festival in the States, along with assurance from the series' producers that we will learn the definitive identity of the mysterious Clairvoyant at some stage before this season's climax as well...
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returns to Channel 4 this March.
