A collector's bundle of some of the best games of the past generation isn't Far away!
Ubisoft have today announced the development of Far Cry: The Wild Expedition. A compilation of each and every instalment in the first-person shooter video game franchise so far, the multi-platform package will consist of FarCry, FarCry 2, 2012's FarCry 3 and the latter product's DLC expansion Blood Dragon.
As if the sheer strength of this hefty bundle wasn't enough to warrant a purchase, price wise, it isn't looking too shabby either. The Wild Expedition will retail over in the States for $39.99, which translates to a rough UK price of £25. Odds are that Ubisoft will end up rounding that figure to the nearest ten, meaning that we'll get the short end of the stick as per usual, but even at £30, fans can hardly claim the product to be a rip-off. FarCry 3 remains one of the most memorable experiences of the past console generation, and Expedition marks a prime opportunity for series newcomers to discover the franchise's humble yet potent roots.
FarCry: The Wild Expedition traverses onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this February 14th.
