Danaerys Targaryean's campaign to rule Westeros takes a step further with this new teaser!HBO Studios have today released the first full teaser trailer for the fourth season of their fantasy drama Game of Thrones. Returning to Sky Atlantic this Spring, the series stars Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Charles Dance and Emilia Clarke, and will welcome a good deal of new additions to the cast ensemble this year.
Don't expect to fathom a remarkable amount of plot details from the teaser (below), however. In spite of glimpses of dragons, Tyrion in chains and Jon Snow in battle lying in wait for your viewing pleasure, most of what's on offer here is par for the course in terms of the key iconography of the series so far. That's not to say that the video won't impress, only that it doesn't exactly break bold new ground. The novel that this season is based on (A Storm of Swords Part 2), though, does feature some game-changing plot developments: rest assured that as early as the midway point of the run, it will become obvious that nothing can ever be the same again in Westeros...
