This year's biggest blockbuster is nearly here, and in a word, it's going to be...Awesome.
Warner Brothers Pictures have today released a television trailer for their upcoming animated comedy film The LEGO Movie. Blending stop-motion and computer-generated animation technology, this unique motion picture is already packing more ambition than virtually every other U-rated film released in 2013 put together.
It's also bringing the world one of the most impressive cast ensembles since Movie 43, albeit aspiring for a somewhat higher degree of overall quality than the aforementioned box office flop, which currently holds a staggering average review score of 18% at Metacritic. Zero Dark Thirty's Chris Pratt, The Hunger Games' Elizabeth Banks, 30 Rock's Will Arnett, (Insert Iconic Film Title Here)'s Morgan Freeman, Anchorman's Will Ferrell, 21 Jump Street's Channing Tatum, Taken's Liam Neeson, Get Him To The Greek's Jonah Hill and Avengers Assemble's Cobie Smaulders are all leading the charge, and on top of that incredible line-up, even iconic figures (literally, in this case, though admittedly miniaturised) including Shakespeare and Abraham Lincoln himself will have a part to play. In short, missing this "awesome" viewing experience will prompt a horrendous curtailing of your potential happiness in life...
The LEGO Movie builds its foundations in UK cinemas nationwide on February 14th.
