Captain America Prequel Comic, Trailer Announced
Captain America: The First Avenger is just months away from its big screen début, and as such things are already beginning to gear up for its release. A digital comic called First Vengeance will be released in eight parts this month, focusing on heroes and villains from across the flick's large cast including Bucky, Nick Fury and the infamous Red Skull. The comic will be available to download from mid-February on iPods, iPads and mobiles, and each segment will end with where the focused character ends up at the beginning of Summer blockbuster The First Avenger. Obviously, there's also a video game by SEGA (could be great, could be rubbish but given SEGA's recent trash repertoire of Iron Man 2 and Sonic Free Riders my expectations aren't high) and new action figures of the courageous Captain in key scenes from the movie, but it's the main event everyone wants to see from July 22nd, and before that we're getting a major teaser at the American Super Bowl half-time event in the midst of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers match this Sunday. From what we know, there'll be a real taste of what's to come in Captain America's first ever cinema outing although it'll all be a set up for a fully fledged trailer intended to hit theatres later this month. Check back on On-Screen Sunday night for the full trailer link and exclusive new details on The First Avenger!
