Halo, Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell For Kinect?

The Halo, Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed franchises could be getting new entries with Kinect compatibility soon if their publishers have anything to say about it. Microsoft has recently registered an online domain for 'HALOKINECT' as a website name, so we already know there's a definite interest in the science-fiction series using motion controls (the only question is how exactly can a first person shooter be controlled by your body?), but whether this will feature as a part of the rumoured Halo: Combat Evolved HD remake supposedly set for release this November 15th (the 10 year anniversary of the series) or in the upcoming Halo 4 confirmed to be in development by 343 Industries remains to be seen for now. Meanwhile, Ubisoft has reportedly spoken to all of its studios about the possibility of implementing Kinect support into their next instalments in fan-pleasing franchises like Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell. With both Assassin's Creed III and Splinter Cell 6 set for release before March 2012, there's a good chance Kinect will make appearances in the titles very soon and if the rumours of support for the motion peripheral are true then expect to see news and announcements on all three sequels before E3!
