Find out when the Avengers will assemble (again) in Britannia!
Marvel Studios have today announced the UK release date for their upcoming superhero ensemble blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron. The sequel to Avengers Assemble, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy will feature Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johannson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo at the head of an all-star cast.
As was the case with Batman Vs. Superman's UK release date announcement yesterday, it transpires that we here in Great Britain are going to have the chance to see this much-anticipated team-up film a week ahead of the United States. In the grand scheme of things, this scheduling revision isn't likely to have a particularly noticeable effect on the production's box office takings, but all the same, for those of us who call ourselves fans of Stan and his infinite range of comic-book characters, the news that we're getting a better deal than our Stateside cohorts in Age's case should undoubtedly be welcomed.
Avengers: Age of Ultron assembles in UK cinemas nationwide on April 24th, 2015 (and in the US, it'll open on May 1st, 2015).
