May 22nd nears ever closer as we get yet another glimpse at Fox's time-travelling epic.
20th Century Fox have today released a second television trailer (below) for their upcoming superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past. Starring Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, the eighth instalment in the hit franchise of blockbuster movies will see X-Men young and old unite in order to battle the near-unstoppable armada of Sentinel Mark X soldiers which threaten to destroy mutantkind.
In comparison to The Amazing Spider-Man 2's overstuffed marketing campaign, Days of Future Past's promotional tactics have been relatively lightweight until now. With Sony's only major superhero film of 2014 done and dusted, though, it looks as if Fox are seizing the opportunity to make their voices heard in the Summer of Film, revealing a host of new video clips from both Days and their impending fantasy movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. We'll have more on both of these increasingly promising projects in the weeks ahead, so keep it On-Screen for all of the latest developments...
X-Men: Days of Future Past materializes in UK cinemas nationwide this May 22nd.
