The WiiU and 3DS publisher sets the date of its E3 showing- expect Smash Bros and secrets galore.
Nintendo have today announced details on their contribution to this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo event. Set to take place in the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 10th to June 12th, the much-anticipated convention will feature live showcases from acclaimed video games publishers such as Microsoft, Sony and Electronic Arts.
In a move that's sure to confound industry analysts, though, the company behind the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchises are turning down the opportunity to present a live showcase at E3 for the second year running. In a similar vein to the 2013 convention, Nintendo will instead host a 'Digital Event' to be broadcast exclusively online, where they will reveal further details on Super Smash Bros for 3DS, Super Smash Bros for WiiU, Bayonetta 2 and other Wii and 3DS-exclusive titles coming to our consoles later this year. Over in the States, Smash Bros fanatics will also be able to get their hands on the aforementioned upcoming fourth instalment in the franchise at Best Buy stories as part of an Invitational event, plus we should expect to learn more regarding Nintendo's latest products via their Nintendo Treehouse developer videos closer to the time of the convention's commencement.
Nintendo's E3 2014 'Digital Event' will air online this June 10th at 5pm (UK time).
