Super Smash Bros WiiU/3DS Release Windows, New Details Announced

Find out when the biggest Nintendo-exclusive game of 2014 will launch on home and handheld consoles.
Nintendo have this week announced the release windows and a series of new details for their upcoming fighter video games Super Smash Bros for WiiU and Super Smash Bros for 3DS. Serving as dual sequels to the beloved 2008 game Super Smash Bros Brawl, the two new instalments will take full advantage of their respective consoles' enhanced technological capabilities both aesthetically and mechanically.

First up, here's a round-up of the latest playable characters, assist trophies and arenas which were announced during the Smash Bros-themed Nintendo Direct online conference on Tuesday:
