Join the Saints or follow An Elysian Tale for free in the coming weeks...Microsoft have today announced the two video games which will be available for Xbox 360 owners to download as part of the Games With Gold rewards scheme next month. First announced at E3 2013, the program offers Xbox Live Gold subscribers two digital products of the publisher's choosing on a monthly basis free of charge, with recent highlights including Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution and Halo 3.
During the first half of May, the critically acclaimed XBLA action RPG Dust: An Elysian Tail will be available for Gold members to download on the Xbox Live Marketplace, whereas in the month's second half, THQ's open-world third-person-shooter Saint's Row: The Third will land its latest chance to woo fans of the Grand Theft Auto series over to its bombastic, surprisingly grounded gameplay whilst they wait out the next major GTA Online update. No news has been announced as of yet regarding the immediate future of Games With Gold or, indeed, whether we should expect to see the scheme transferred over to or replicated on Xbox One anytime soon, but we'll keep you posted as and when we hear more from Microsoft at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Dust: An Elysian Tail will be launched on Games With Gold via the Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow, May 1st and Saint's Row: The Third will take its place on Friday May 16th.
