Quentin Tarantino's cult masterpiece returns to celebrate its twentieth birthday.
Miramax Films and Cineworld Group plc have today announced the production of a UK box office re-release of the hit 1994 crime flick Pulp Fiction. Directed by Quentin Tarantino, the movie met with mass critical acclaim at the time of release and starred the likes of John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman (to name but a select few).
Anniversary runs of this ilk are hardly uncommon in the film industry, though they've become less prominent of late, and it's great to see one of the most popular cult flicks of the past two decades picking up the proverbial baton and carrying it forward into the Summer of Film. If the re-established marketing campaign proves to be a success here in the UK, then there's no reason why the revived version can't migrate over to other British cinema chains such as ODEON and Vue, but either way, Tarantino fans would be foolish to miss out on their one and only opportunity to experience one of his greatest efforts on the big-screen for a second (or first, in some cases!) time.
Pulp Fiction: 20th Anniversary Edition blasts into Cineworld cinemas nationwide for a limited time only from May 20th.
